You need to get the Joe Smith complete video on religion making. He suggest you create a bible and then make a huge lie to go with it. then get 12 guys to swear up and down that you ain't lying. The more ridiculous you make your religion the better it will work. You need magic draws, funny hats and rituals; plenty of rituals. Borrow some of your dogma from any religion and swear you invented it and it's diviine. Make your religion self perpetuating and it will last forever. You must have slogans too. Something like jesus is love or jesus saves will work real good.
