How many out there agree that Bobby Jindal should be the keynote speaker at the 2008 RNC?
Although I do not think he will be McCain's VP pick this year (the short list is probably Romney, Huckabee, Pawlenty, Portman, or Palin), I feel he is future of the Republican party, especially if the rebuilding of New Orleans continues at the unexpectedly successful rate that it has (and despite what spin you may otherwise hear, it has). Rush Limbaugh has described him as the next Ronald Reagan. I see him more as a Republican John F. Kennedy. He could point out in his speech how America has already proven that it is a place where anyone has equal opportunity and can succeed. He can point to himself as a good example. He is a second generation Hindu-turned-Catholic who was elected in a state (Louisiana) where most Republicans are conservative evangelicals. As keynote speaker, America would get to see his enthusiasm, charisma, congeniality, & believability first hand. What do you think?
