Biopsy removed basal cell, or still there?

I had a small red pimple-like spot on my forehead that was biopsied and found to be basal cell (fourth one on my face). Since the biopsy the red spot has not reappeared. Can I safely ume the biopsy took away the basal cells, or do I have to go through the terrible expense of having more cut out and stitched up? Mose surgery would guarantee it gone, but that's even MORE expensive, and I'm paying out of pocket. Would you take a chance?
