I'm now enlisted in the air force?

As of yesterday I swore into the United States Air Force. I'm currently in the DEP program awaiting a job. But I've heard from my brothers and sisters that if you go to Korea for a year you get base of preference after that year, I knwo this is mostly true other than you may not exactly the base you want due to availability. But what I'm asking is what is it like for those who have been over there recently or who are there currently? I want to put Korea on my "dream sheet" so I can serve abroad as I'd like to put it.
