Please need someones opinion? is it too late?

i deleted this guy a while ago from facebook and he added me about 2-3 days ago and i approved expecting him to message me but he hasnt i deleted him because we got into an arguement ...so should i still send him a message or just delete him again lol?? and i know he didnt add me by accident because right after i approved him he liked my status and he keeps putting stuff like hes single on his statuses yet recently he put ( she makes me smile) something like that
