I'm scared we're never going to speak again...?

I feel for you hiney, and I'm sorry that boys can be so stupid sometimes. But I don't know how much you were thinking about how he would feel about this. You broe up with your boyfriend so you could be with him. Did you ever ask him if he wanted a relationship together? He probably found ot from a mutual friend that you don't have a boyfriend anymore, and he probably umed it was because of him. Maybe he's shying away because he's embarressed to be the reason you broke up with your boyfriend. You said that he was the shy type, and really, that's what boys do. You shouldn't have just broken up with your boyfriend all of a sudden like that. He wasn't talking to you because now he's nervous around you, and might feel a little guilty, too. About him just all of a sudden talking to you again, he's trying to act like nothing happened, and that isn't fair to you, because he needs to consider how you feel too. When he invited you to go, you should have taken it. Yes, I understand you were hurt, but if you see him in person, he can't run away from the fact that you like him, and that he possibly still likes you. See if you can get that get together back. And understand that if he trys to act like nothing happen, tell him how you feel after the date but before you get home. Don't let him blow you off like that again, or else he is not a good friend or possible boyfriend.
