Halloween ideas?

My boyfriend and I are planning to go with a "Top Gun" theme, with myself as Charlie (Kelly Mcgillis) and my Boyfriend as Maverick (Tom Cruise). Anyone have any ideas for some cute costumes for my boxer that would go with this theme?
